Perno Pizza Friday

It's been some time since I've blogged about a Perno Pizza Friday so I suppose right now is a good time to start back up! This Friday we decided to do something different & make calzones instead of regular pizza. I'm saying we even though Mike not only came up with the idea, but also executed the entire meal.



Mike picked up classic white dough, salami, spinach & ricotta & mozzarella cheese. One dough ball made two large calzones.



This was Mike's first time making a calzone so he was a tad nervous, hoping it would turn out well.



And let me tell you, they were utterly delectable!



I think I may have to convince Mike that this Friday should be a repeat calzone night!



In other news, I surprised Mike this week by having ceiling fans installed while he was away on business. It's so rare that I'm able to pull a surprise off, so I figured this would be perfect since we keep talking about wanting to put two up in our living room.



Our friend Matt was SO incredibly nice & came over on his day off to install them. We absolutely adore them & Mike couldn't believe his eyes when he got home! Thanks, Matt, you're the best!!
